UNIQUE WEDDING GIFTS FOR YOUR BESTIE

Every time we go for an anniversary celebration or a wedding, we’re haunted by the question, ‘what do we give the couple?’ More often than not this question leaves us baffled and we end up giving cash or worse a bottle of wine.

We are sorry to break it to you but cash and/ or wine make do NOT make the best wedding gifts. It reality is quite the contrary.  For one; the couple doesn’t enjoy the cash, either it is used to make payments or it goes into a ‘honeymoon/holiday fund’, with all the other envelopes.

It’s honestly something both the husband and wife will like and use. Since no one really gives a bar set as a wedding gift, you can be sure that they won’t face the problem of having two of a kind (especially since yours will be monogrammed with the couple’s initials).

2.Contribute to one aspect of the wedding.

If the budget allows it, talk to the bride and groom and offer to pay for the DJ (or for any other source of music- say a live singer or a band) for the wedding or get the mehendi day giveaways for them. You could also offer to buy one of the bride’s outfits for her. It is honestly the best way to give them memories that they will cherish forever!

They’re all the rage these days, gift this to your friend and you shall be ‘the friend of the year’ for many years to come. It is something that the couple will not only love but will use as well, maybe for their ‘save the date’ invites or for decorating their future home.

Wonderlust anyone? If you friends love travelling, this is the gift to give them. They will keep thanking you for making them take out time for themselves, till your ears get bored. The holiday could be to a near by hill station (drivable) where you could book a resort for them. You could also give them airplane miles, to use whenever and for wherever they like.

Taking inspiration from the previous suggestion, we give you the most unique and heaven knows- useful gift to give your couple friends. Everyone needs them, from the second they get married- for their honeymoon and their weekends away. You should get the set monogrammed to add that special something to an already special gift! (Just make sure you tell the bride beforehand of your gift so that she doesn’t get one for her trousseau)
